Lot 234 : Patek Philippe ref. 2499, 18K gold perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch with moon phases, sold for 3 252 500 $ USD.

Lot 112 : Patek Philippe ref. 2499/100J T, 18K gold perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch with moon phases and tachymeter scale, sold for 672 500 $ USD.

BEST PERFORMANCES

Lot 53 : Audemars Piguet, 18K gold Monaco Cent Francs Coin watch with green gold dial and Breguet numerals, or 447% variation between the low estimate and the final result (43 750 $ USD).

Lot 167 : Patek Philippe ref. 865/13, 18K gold hunter case keyless lever dress watch with engraved deer hunt scene, representing a 400% variation between the low estimate and the final result (17 500 $ USD).

CONCLUSION

A solid sale that once again demonstrates the importance of selecting pieces in an increasingly selective market. Note the strong performance of Patek Philippe which is undoubtedly coming back very strongly this end of the season and putting collectors back to the reality of the watch market where this brand is definitely number one for highly collectable pieces.
