The Christie’s Watches Online: A Horological Holiday auction organized by Christie’s featured an exclusive selection of 240 pieces from the best watch brands chosen for their condition, rarity and quality. Total fresh sale included : 1 520 125 $ USD, selling nearly 70% of the lots on display.
BEST RESULTS
Lot 240 : Patek Philippe ref. 5131G, automatic wristwatch in 18k white gold, enamel dial showing Europe and Africa, world time, sold for 100 000 $ USD.
Lot 206 : Rolex ref. 6263, ‘Small Red’ Daytona modem, stainless steel chronograph wristwatch, manual movement, sold for 60 000 $ USD.
BEST PERFORMANCES
Lot 67 : Chopard ref. 16/2267, montre bracelet tonneau automatique en or jaune 18K L.U.C, en édition limitée, n°. 0011/1860, or 1 358% variation between the low estimate and the final result (4 375 $ USD).
Lot 69 : Chopard ref. 16/3556, automatic wristwatch in 18k rose gold with date, or 550% variation between the low estimate and the final result (3 250 $ USD).
