Total sales including fees for collector watches and watches : 2 826 274 $ USD, selling more than 50% of the lots presented.
BEST RESULTS
Lot 87 : Cartier, rare and exquisite mantle clock from 1931, sold for 286 151 $ USD.
Lot 348A : Rolex, ref. 6264/6262, stainless steel chronograph wristwatch, Daytona “Paul Newman” model, sold for 284 645 $ USD.
BEST PERFORMANCES
Lot 336 : Cartier, gold and steel wristwatch, representing a 312% variation between the low estimate and the final result (2 409 $ USD).
Lot 176 : Patek Philippe, ref. 5060 A, stainless steel wristwatch, representing a 268% variation between the low estimate and the final result (15 061 $ USD).
Lot 221 : Rolex, ref. 5500, stainless steel wristwatch, 197% variation between the low estimate and the final result (4 518 $ USD).

On the first step of the podium, with two watches having exceeded the bar of 100 000 $ USD, average per lot 17 546 $ USD.

On the second step of the podium, with a lot above 250 000 $ USD, average per lot 39 361 $ USD. A result based on the highest bid of the sale with lot 87.
Patek Philippe
On the third step of the podium, with a watch exceeding 100 000 $ USD, average per lot 39 534 $ USD.
These three brands represent a total amount of 2 096 031 $ USD, which is nearly 75% of the sale total.
AVERAGE PRICE PER LOT
Taking into account the number of lots for vintage watches and watches, 293 in total, including 146 unsold lots, the average price per lot was 19 226 $ USD.
CONCLUSION
The success of this sale is largely based on the performance of Rolex but it should also be noted that Cartier has achieved a good score with the highest bid for this session. In an increasingly selective market, the selection of parts will have been an essential element which constitutes the result and the percentage of sales. With a total of sold for these two sessions of more than 4.5 million dollars Antiquorum confirms its local presence against the French auction house Artcurial.
