BEST RESULTS
Lot 116 : Panerai ref. 6152, Radiomir “Type A” model, stainless steel manual winding wristwatch, movement by Rolex, stainless steel buckle, sold for 256 736 $ USD.
Lot 207 : Audemars Piguet retailed by Gobbi, stainless steel and gold manual winding chronograph wristwatch, sold for 106 330 $ USD.
BEST PERFORMANCES
Lot 52 : Audemars Piguet ref. 3568BA° 120830, A 18k yellow gold, onyx and tiger’s eye set skeleton dress watch, with a travel pouch with Sultanate of Oman’s coat of arms, a gold chain, or 582% variation between the low estimate and the final result (31 013 $ USD).
Lot 98 : Rolex ref. 6263, Daytona model, a stainless steel manual winding chronograph wristwatch, “Oyster” bracelet with a deployant clasp signed, or 201% variation between the low estimate and the final result (85 654 $ USD).
Lot 130 : Gerald Genta ref. G3632.7, Retro Disney model, a stainless steel automatic wristwatch with jumping hours, buckle branded, or 201% variation between the low estimate and the final result (8 565 $ USD).

On the first step of the podium, with a watch having surpassed the 85 000 $ USD mark, average per lot 11 889 $ USD.
Panerai
On the second step of the podium, with a watch above 250 000 $ USD, average per lot 79 617 $ USD. A result based on the highest bid of the sale with lot 116.
Audemars Piguet
On the third step of the podium, with a watch having exceeded the 100 000 $ USD mark, average per lot 26 915 $ USD.
These three brands represent a total revenue of 878 560 $ USD, or nearly 55% of the total sale.
AVERAGE PRICE PER LOT
Based on the number of lots, 207 in total, including 92 unsold lots, the average price of a lot was 14 387 $ USD.
CONCLUSION
The first dedicated auction of the year once again demonstrated the selectivity of buyers in the collector’s watch market. We note the good results for rare and vintage watches, from Panerai to Rolex there was strong bidding battles, not to mention Audemars Piguet confirming its position in the international market, note the absence of Patek Philippe in the podium.
