PATEK PHILIPPE REF. 130 DE 1937

A PREVIEW AT DROUOT

Since 5 November this year, Ader Watches has been previewing 3 exceptional watches at Hôtel Drouot, which will shortly be auctioned in Paris. Among the pieces on display, vintage enthusiasts will be able to appreciate a reference 130 chronograph from the Patek Philippe manufacture. Produced in 1937, this timepiece is accompanied by an extract from the archives confirming its sale on 24 December 1937. In the history of chronographs, the reference 130 is a legendary model, since it was the first mass-produced chronograph by the Geneva watchmaker. It can currently be seen in the room at the Hôtel Drouot dedicated to ‘Objets Star’ in forthcoming auctions. The watch will be auctioned on 15 November by L’Huillier in Paris.

On 14 November, the Planète des Arts auction house in Marseilles is giving Rolex enthusiasts a date! A yellow gold Pearlmaster model, with a diamond-set dial, will be offered at auction with an estimate of €6,000 / €8,000. Introduced to the Rolex world in 1992, the Pearlmaster collection was designed to offer a more glamorous line to the brand’s female clientele. Considered the ‘luxury’ version of the Datejust line, the Pearlmaster collection is easily identifiable thanks to its particularly elegant eponymous bracelet.

CARTIER, LIP « BASHMAKOFF » ET DUBEY & SHALDENBRAND | ARLES ENCHÈRES

ARLES | 16.11. 2024

In Arles, auctioneer Christelle Gouirand will be auctioning off more than 50 watches on 16 November. Among the most attractive pieces, enthusiasts will spot an elegant design with curved lines that appeared in 1973 in the Cartier universe: the Gondole model (estimate €3,000 / €5,000). Design enthusiasts can choose between two cult watches designed by François de Baschmakoff for Lip in the early 1970s. Finally, connoisseurs will be able to treat themselves to the Grand Chrono Astro, a haute-horlogerie timepiece with full calendar and moon phases by Dubey & Schaldenbrand. Founded in 1946 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, by the inventors of the split-seconds chronograph, Georges Dubey and René Schaldenbrand, Dubey & Schaldenbrand is an independent manufacturer of haute-horlogerie timepieces. The sale also includes numerous pieces by Rolex, Omega, Chaumet, Longines and Repossi.
